Local data remains entirely under your control. We may collect anonymous device information (such as macOS version and app version) to help us diagnose issues and improve the app.

Apple StoreKit: For managing in-app purchases and subscriptions
Firebase Remote Config: Used to manage app updates and configuration settings remotely
Google Analytics/Crashlytics: Anonymous usage statistics and crash reports

Since most data is stored locally on your Mac, it is protected by macOS's built-in security features, including sandboxing and encryption.

5. Subscription and Payment Information

Karafuru offers optional auto-renewable subscriptions and one-time purchases through Apple's In-App Purchase system.

Payment Processing

All payment processing is handled securely by Apple through the App Store
We do not collect, store, or have access to your payment information (credit cards, billing addresses, etc.)
Apple manages all billing, payment, and transaction data according to Apple's Privacy Policy

Subscription Data

We receive limited subscription status information from Apple via StoreKit to verify your premium entitlement
This information includes: subscription type (monthly/yearly/lifetime), subscription status (active/expired), and purchase receipts
This data is used solely to provide you with access to premium features
No personally identifiable payment information is accessible to us

Managing Subscriptions

You can view, change, or cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple ID Account Settings
Subscription data is subject to Apple's terms and privacy policies

Karafuru does not knowingly collect any information from children under the age of 13.
